Suspect indicted for murder of woman found dead in Manoa storm drain

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An Oahu grand jury has indicted a man for murder in the second degree for the murder of a woman whose body was found in a storm drain in Manoa last month.
Gibran Copeland is accused of shooting 50-year-old Christina Baca multiple times.
Baca’s body was found in a Manoa storm drain.
Copeland and Baca were in an intimate relationship, and there were previous domestic abuse incidents between them.
Copeland is being held without bail at OCCC.
