CUSTOM MADE GAIL HOUGHT BRAIDED LEATHER ROMAL REINS

Description

This is a very nice set of romal reins.  Custom, hand braided by California artist GAIL HOUGHT, these reins are extremely well made. (Gail Hought is a renown braider and instructor and has written and published a series of illustrated braiding books.)  The reins are in new-never used condition and we believe they are braided kangaroo leather.  The romal measures 53 inches long including the connector and popper, and the reins measure  55 inches from the romal connector to the bit ends.  The popper measures approx. 11 3/4 inches long, and is lined and stitched and has the HOUGHT maker mark on both sides.  The reins are clean, supple and pliable, well conditioned; a nice reddish finish with a variety of knots.  Beautiful set ready to use or display.
